C	Current Earnings Per Share
	We believe the best performing stocks are those with the best current earnings. Look for companies whose current earnings per share are up at least 18%. Daily Graphs Online displays a company's current quarterly earnings per share compared to the same quarter for the previous year for the last four quarters. This information includes both the dollar values of per share earnings and the percentage the earnings have changed, making it easy to identify promising stocks.
A	Annual Earnings Per Share
	A sound growth record over several years may indicate that management has a superior ability to make money in different stages of the economic cycle. Look for companies whose annual earnings per share show meaningful growth for the last five years. Daily Graphs Online gives you a company's annual earnings per share for the past six years, as well as current estimates for future earnings.
N	New
	Exceptional stocks tend to have a new product that everyone wants to buy. Or, a company may be experiencing a beneficial change in industry conditions. A change in management can also help improve a company's fortune. 	It is also important to look for stocks as they initially make new highs in price. Daily Graphs Online shows exactly how much a stock is off from its 52-week high in the Weekly Graph/Datablock section, and the price/volume graphs make it easy to spot stocks hitting new highs in price.
S	Shares Outstanding
	All other factors being equal, a company with a smaller number of shares outstanding can see its stock move higher much faster than a company with a larger capitalization. It's also important to look for volume increases when a stock begins to move up in price.

L	Leader
