Naming a Stock List

Creating a new Stock List is as simple as clicking on the "Create" button.  However, what may not know is that the Lists can take on meaningful names which are useful when numerous lists are utilized.  Stock Lists may carry any name of choice, as long as it begins with a letter. Depending on the intended use of a list, specific names and information might be used when naming a list. Let’s say for example, that the following task was undertaken:

• The Daily Graphs Printed Product Co. Index was exported to Excel;
• It was filtered and sorted to find stocks meeting specific investment criteria (i.e. stocks that have a RS rating of at least 80, and a SMR rating of at least 85);
• The results of this list were then imported back into Daily Graphs Online to the Stock List for easy viewing.

A name reflecting the contents of this list might be of great value when referencing the list in the future. A possible name could be "DGPP 9/12/99 RS 80 SMR 85". While this example may not work for your Stock List, the point is that there is a lot of flexibility in naming a Stock List and we hope that you will take advantage of this option to make the recognition of your Lists as easy as possible.
