| This selection allows the user to
view daily lists of securities and industry groups meeting specific performance
criteria. The lists are updated daily. Short interest reports are updated once a month on the day following the release of short interest data by the major exchanges. The universe selection for the Weekly New High Report and the Daily Graphs Printed Product Company Index report is updated every Friday evening at approximately 8:00 p.m. (Pacific Time), however data items in most reports are updated daily. To view this menu from the program, click on "Reports" or press the F4 function key. Then highlight/enter or click on any of the selections on the menu. With a report window open, the graph of any company in these reports may be viewed by double-click on the company's name, or by clicking on the name and press "Enter". The reports may be sent to your printer as well as exported to Excel or Lotus spreadsheets by clicking on the appropriate icon (top left-hand corner of each list window). A text file icon, also, is provided for saving the reports as text files. You may scroll through any report, by highlighting the first stock in the list and continuously depressing the space bar key. To learn more about a Report, click on the "Click to read more about Report" button located on the bottom of each Report window. We also provide a resource where you may quickly view the descriptions of all Reports. This is accessible via the "Reports" link (at the top and bottom of this page) and is available on the INFO FOR YOU menu in the program. Below is a brief description of each report: Top Earnings Per Share Rank Stocks - Lists the top 100 companies traded on the NYSE and top 100 companies traded on the AMEX and NASDAQ according to their earnings per share rank. The list and report items which include price, earnings per share rank, relative strength, SMR rate and accumulation/distribution grade for each company is updated daily. Top Relative Strength Stocks - Lists the top 100 companies traded on the NYSE and the top 100 companies traded on the AMEX and NASDAQ according to their relative strength value. Tender offers and stocks under $7 are omitted. The list and report items which include price, earnings per share rank, relative strength, SMR rate and accumulation/distribution grade for each company is updated daily. Fastest Growing Companies - Lists the top 100 companies traded on the NYSE and the top 100 companies traded on the AMEX and NASDAQ according to their 5-year earnings growth rate. The list and report items which include price, growth rate, earnings per share rank, relative strength, SMR rate and accumulation/distribution grade for each company is updated daily. Stocks Moving Up In Timeliness Ranking - Lists 100 companies traded on the NYSE and 100 companies traded on the AMEX and NASDAQ with an increase in their timeliness rank from the prior day. The list begins with stocks earning the highest timeliness rank for the week. Report selection and content is updated daily. Stocks Moving Down In Timeliness Ranking - Lists 100 companies traded on the NYSE and 100 companies traded on the AMEX and NASDAQ with a decrease in their timeliness rank from the prior day. The list begins with stocks earning the highest timeliness rank for the week. Report selection and content is updated daily. Stocks Moving Up In Acc/Dis - Lists companies traded on the NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ with an increase in their A/D rate from the prior day. Stocks Moving Down In Acc/Dis - Lists companies traded on the NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ with a decrease in their A/D rate from the prior day. Timeliness "A" Rated Stocks - Lists all the companies with an "A" timeliness rating meeting the performance criteria required for listing in the Daily Graphs books. Report selection and content is updated daily. Top Industry Groups - Lists the top 100 of the 197 O'Neil Industry Groups (copyrighted by William O'Neil & Company, Inc.) based on price performance of all the stocks in the industry group for the past 6 months. Comparable industry group rankings from the prior week and previous 3 months are provided for each group. NYSE Short Interest Report - Provides the total short volume, the percentage the total short volume is of a company's float, and the number of days to cover short interest based on the average daily volume for 100 stocks on the New York Exchange. The number of days to cover short interest is provided for each of the last three months. An asterisk before the company's name means the company is involved in arbitrage. The number of days to cover the short interest for the most recent month determines the order of listing. Provided one week each month on the week following the release of short interest data by the exchanges. NASDAQ Short Interest Report - Provides the total short volume, the percentage the total short volume is of a company's float, and the number of days to cover short interest based on the average daily volume for 100 stocks on NASDAQ. The number of days to cover short interest is provided for each of the last three months. An asterisk before the company's name means the company is involved in arbitrage. The number of days to cover the short interest for the most recent month determines the order of listing. Provided one week each month on the week following the release of short interest data by the exchanges. Daily Graphs Printed Product Co Index - Lists alphabetically all the companies featured in the latest weekly Daily Graphs publications. These companies meet specific performance criteria for selection in the published products; the selection is updated once a week on Friday evenings. The earnings per share rank, relative strength, SMR rate and accumulation/distribution grade for each company is updated daily. The last two report columns are updated on a daily rotating basis at 8:00 p.m. PDT: Monday - price-to-earnings ratio, timeliness rank; Tuesday - 52-week high price, 52-week low price; Wednesday - alpha, beta; Thursday - market value, 50-day average volume; Friday - group relative strength, industry group name. Investor's Business Daily Company Index- Provides the daily Company Index list from the most recent edition of Investor's Business Daily. Report items such as price, relative strength, volume % change etc. are updated daily. The last column on the report indicates the page number where an article can be found on the company. Top 30 EPS Rate Stocks- Lists the top EPS rated companies (10 from NYSE, 10 from AMEX and 10 from NASDAQ). The list is sorted from highest to lowest by 50 day average volume. Top 30 RS Rate Stocks- Lists the top RS rated companies (10 from NYSE, 10 from AMEX and 10 from NASDAQ). The list is sorted from highest to lowest by 50 day average volume. Weekly New High Report- Features companies from the Daily Graphs Printed Product Company Index that reached a new 52-week price high during the prior week of trading. The universe is selected and the report is updated each Friday evening. The "Prior Week High Date" and the "Prior Week High Price" columns displayed next to each company, indicate the day and price high from the previous week that the new high was recorded. The current price, relative strength, earnings per share rank, SMR rate and accumulation/distribution rate are updated daily (approximately 8:00 p.m. PDT) to reflect the most recent close. Stocks At or Approaching a New High- This report highlights companies from the Daily Graphs Printed Product Company Index with equities that closed within 5% of its 52-week price high on any day during the prior week of trading, or that closed the week at its 52-Week High. In order for a stock to be included in this report, all stocks must have a Relative Strength Rate and Earnings Per Share Rate of 80 or above, as well as an Accumulation/Distribution letter grade of C or better (at the close of the week). The Report universe is selected on the last day of a trading week (usually Friday) at approximately 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Report data items such as current price close, 52-week high, relative strength, earnings per share rate and accumulation/distribution rating are updated daily. Week high price is as of the most recent Friday. |
