MENU BAR and COMMAND BUTTONS
The Menu Bar and Command Buttons are the primary access points for utilizing the features of our service.  For a detailed description, click on a selection below.

      Graph Datablock Market Reports Tools
The Menu Bar consists of File, Info for You, Window, and Help.  When using the Daily Graphs Online program, clicking on any of these will open a drop-down menu, providing access to numerous resources for the use and support of this service.
The Command Buttons consist of Graph, Datablock, Market, Reports, and Tools.  These buttons are used to directly access our network to obtain charts, data and to customize the presentation of a chart. 

STOCK LIST
The Stock List feature provides a convenient method for quickly accessing data on a favorite group of stocks or indices. This feature will open items of the Graph mode, the Datablock mode and the indices under the Market section. To access this feature, click open the File menu (top bar of program) and select Stock Lists. This will open the the Stock List menu which serves to create, delete or provide access to Stock Lists. When a Stock List is opened, the Stock List window will open. It is the Stock List window that contains the selected stocks and/or indices, and provides the means to quickly and easily view the items of a Stock List.

REPORT WINDOW
The Daily Graphs Online service provides access to several Reports. These are pre-set screens and offer ideas to investors when selecting stocks that meet their specific investment criteria.  When a Report is selected, the results are presented in the Report Window. Data from a report can be handled in a number of ways for analysis. Please review the Reports section of Tips & Tricks to learn more.

NAME SEARCH TOOL

Accessed from the Tools Command button, the Name Search tool provides the capability to find the name and ticker symbol of any equity that is a part of the William O'Neil + Co. Database.

To use this feature, type part or all of the stock's name in the top bar area (where the cursor defaults to) and use the keyboard "Enter" button or click the "Search" button with the mouse cursor. A list of alphabetical names will appear in the display field. The arrow keys, the page keys, and the scroll bar buttons may be used to move through the list of names.
When the desired item is located, its graph may be viewed in one of two ways: double-click the item with the cursor, or highlight the item and click the "Graph" button.
To exit this feature click on the "Close" button or press the "Escape" key on the keyboard.

Note: Company names that begin with abbreviations or letters are found by typing in the first letter of the name and then a space (ex. A T T). The O'Neil stock symbols, especially in the case of foreign or regional exchange stocks, may differ from symbols in other databases.


CHANGE PASSWORD TOOL

To access the Daily Graphs Online service, an active usercode and password is required.  While the usercode is assigned to a subscriber, the password is chosen by the subscriber.  The Change Password Tool allows a subscriber to change their password at anytime.

To use this feature, click on the Change Password selection under the Tools command button to open the Change Password window.  Type in the old and new passwords in the spaces provided. When the "OK" button is selected, the new password will become active and the old password will no longer be valid.  For those who use the "save password" option on the login window, the new password will be automatically inserted.

Note: When creating a password, select one that has at least 5 but no more than 11 alphanumeric characters. The password field is NOT case-sensitive.


TRACK-PRICE
The Track-Price feature is a valuable tool for obtaining precise price and volume information on a stock or market indice. Daily Graphs Online provides this data for all  stocks in the William O'Neil+Co. database.

To access the Track-Price resource, simply request a chart while in the Graph mode, move the mouse cursor to any location on the price line or volume bars, and press the right-hand mouse button. Horizontal and vertical lines (cross-hairs) will pop-up to help find the point of interest. Price information on the date of interest will appear in the Track-Prince window, which will be displayed in upper left corner of the computer monitor (see exhibit to the left). The cross-hairs and window will remain in view while the mouse button is held down. Or click in the Track-Price Window and release the mouse button and it will remain enabled until you refresh the Graph.
