Importing a Stock List from a Spreadsheet

  1. Make sure that the ticker symbols are in one single column. Select and highlight the ticker symbols;

  2. Right-click on any of the highlighted symbols. A drop-down menu should appear. Select "Copy" from this menu;
  3. Click on the "Start" button on the bottom-left corner of your desktop. Then select "Programs" > "Accessories" > "Notepad" to open the Notepad program;
  4. Inside Notepad, click "Edit" > "Paste" from the top toolbar. This should paste the ticker symbols into the document;
  5. Next, click "File" > "Save As" from the top toolbar. Give this file a name and save it as a text file (.txt extension);
  6. Open Stock Graphs and click "Stock Lists" button. The stock list menu window should appear. Click "Import" button. Find and import the text file you saved at #5.
