Stock Graph eSignal Real-Time Add-On Setup
To assist Stock Graphs subscribers who are experiencing problems when using the eSignal Real-Time Add-On service, please review the following topics:
Overview
The eSignal real-time price and volume quote feed will update the Stock Graphs Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Intraday charts information when the following conditions are met:
- Active subscription to Stock Graphs service
- Active eSignal Real-Time Add-On subscription (eSignal clients may sign up through eSignal directly)
- Stock Graphs chart control (Plotwon 1,2,0,0 or greater)
- Installation of eSignal Data Manager and connectivity software
- Stock Graphs Tools menu activation
- Windows 98 or later operating system
- Use of Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and greater
- Internet connection (33.6 kbps or greater)
Required Software
While existing Stock Graphs subscribers may need to update the chart software, all subscribers must install two additional software components designed to receive data from eSignal and place it on our charts.
The following software must be installed:
- Plotwon version 1,2,0,0 or greater
- eSignal Data Manager Client
- WON eSignal Connectivity files

Stock Graphs Setting Change

After the software is installed, a setting change is required to allow the Stock Graphs and eSignal software to communicate. To complete this task, click the Stock Graphs' Tools menu and select "eSignal Real-Time." From the window that opens, click the "Real-Time Quote Feed" box to create a check mark. Click the "OK" button to accept this modification.
NOTE: If the eSignal software was installed somewhere other than the default location, this path must be copied into the "Quote Directory" field.

Confirm Software Installation
PLOTWON
There are two ways to confirm the correct graph software file is installed. The easiest way is to open the Stock Graphs application and then simultaneously press the "SHIFT" and "\ |" keys (located just above the ENTER key). A pop-up window should appear with the version number. A reading of "Plotwon Version 1, 2, 0, 0" or greater is required.
To manually check the Plotwon, access the Internet Options icon form the Control Panel or from the Internet Explorer Tools menu. Click the "Settings" button and then the "View Objects" button. In the window that opens, search for the "Plotwon" file; the version number should appear in the last column to the right.

DATA MANAGER
The simplest way to confirm the installation of the eSignal Data Manager is to look for an "eSignal" folder on the Windows program menu. This eSignal folder should contain the "DM Client" icon.
Please note, the eSignal Data Manager utilizes a Username and Password that is separate and distinct from that used to access our services. When functioning properly, a green icon will appear in the System tray. If the icon is red, please click here for eSignal contact information.
If the eSignal folder cannot be located, access the Control Panel, open the "Add or Remove Programs" tool and search for "DM Client" on this list.

WON ESIGNAL CONNECTIVITY
To confirm the installation of the WON eSignal Connectivity software, access the "Add or Remove Programs" icon from the Control Panel and look for "WON eSignal Connectivity" near the bottom of the list.

If an older version of the chart software is installed, click here for instructions to allow a new file to overwrite the existing file.
Please note, if the Stock Graphs have been viewed since last restarting your computer, please close all browser windows before installing the software.
DATA MANAGER
To install the eSignal Data Manager, please click here.
NOTE: This Data Manager file is NOT the same software offered on the eSignal home page. It is specifically designed to work with third party applications such as our Stock Graphs charts.
WON ESIGNAL CONNECTIVITY
Click here install the WON eSignal Connectivity files. Once installed, close all browser windows to complete the installation and then open a new browser window to access the charts again.
