I have a regular eSignal account. Do I need to buy the eSignal Real-Time Add-On subscription?
I subscribed to the eSignal Real-Time Add-On service an hour ago but charts are not displaying real-time quotes.
How do I access the Stock Graphs with the eSignal Real-Time Add-On quote feed when using another computer?
When I try to access the Stock Graphs with the eSignal Real-Time Add-On quote feed, the charts freeze or crash.
The eSignal Data Manager has "NODATA" for "Reception" and "NONE" under "Password"—I am not sure I entered the correct eSignal Username and Password.
The Stock Graphs are working, the eSignal Data Manager icon is green and the Add-On Setting box has been set, but the real-time quote feed is not working.
Why does the Stock Graphs chart window has a green line under the command buttons but when a new chart window is opened from the Display menu, this line no longer exists?
The eSignal Data Manager indicates a "25 Symbol" limit; is this a restriction on my subscription?

Q: I have a regular eSignal account. Do I need to buy the eSignal Real-Time Add-On subscription?
A: In order to receive real-time data, eSignal requires a subscription which is separate from the Daily Graphs Online subscription and regular eSignal account. Existing eSignal users will need to purchase the eSignal Real-Time Add-On subscription as the regular eSignal subscription does not include the Real-Time Add-On for the Daily Graphs Online Stock Graphs.

Q: I subscribed to the eSignal Real-Time Add-On within the last hour but my chart data is still not live.
A: It takes about half an hour to an hour for eSignal to activate new non-pro users. Pro users may take up to a few days as they must first be approved by the Exchanges. You may check the status of your eSignal subscription by contacting eSignal directly.

Q: How do I access the Stock Graphs with the eSignal Real-Time Add-On quote feed when using another computer?

Q: After subscribing to the eSignal Real-Time Add-On, the charts freeze or crash when accessed.
A: Verify that the eSignal Data Manager has been installed on your computer. This can be done by clicking the START button on your computer, selecting ALL PROGRAMS and checking if there is an eSignal folder present in the list. If there is no eSignal folder present, please click the following link and install the eSignal Data Manager.

Q: The eSignal Data Manager has "NODATA" for "Reception" and "NONE" under "Password"—I am not sure I entered the correct eSignal Username and Password.
A: This is an indication the eSignal Data Manager is not receiving data; the Data Manager icon will be red at this time. To reenter your eSignal Data Manager access codes (Username and Password), click the Data Manager windows "File" menu, select Properties and then click the "OK" button after entering the required information.

Q: The Stock Graphs are working, the eSignal Data Manager icon is green, and the Add-On Setting box has been set, but the real-time quote feed is not working.
A: If the eSignal icon is green, all software components are installed and the Stock Graphs eSignal Real Time settings are correct, please check your eSignal subscription to ensure access to the NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX exchanges. This may be verified from the eSignal Data Manager in the following way:
- Double click the eSignal Data Manager icon to open it
- Click the File menu and select Properties
- From the Connectivity window, click the Services button
- Scroll through the list of authorized services and confirm the exchanges are included

Q: Why does the Stock Graphs chart window has a green line under the command buttons but when a new chart window is opened from the Display menu, this line no longer exists?
A: The green line under the command buttons is an indication your Stock Graphs subscription is setup to receive real-time quotes from the eSignal Data Manager.
When a new chart window is opened using the Display menu, the new chart window will not accept the eSignal quote feed, therefore the price and volume information is not real-time. The green line is a visual indicator of which chart window may receive real-time data, and which chart has 20-minute delayed data.

Q: The eSignal Data Manager window indicates a "25 Symbol" limit; what does this mean?
A: The 25 symbol limit on eSignal Data Manager does not apply to the Stock Graphs service and may be ignored.
The Data Manager application was created by eSignal to work with a variety of third party applications, such as our Stock Graphs. Due to the alternative uses of this Data Manager application, some options/messages do not apply to our service.

Q: Error message reports eSignal connectivity control cannot be found.
A: Our Stock Graphs and the eSignal Real-Time Add-On are individual programs that are able to communicate via the connectivity file. If the WON eSignal Connectivity program is not installed, please install it from the following link:

Q: Error message indicates the Plotwon file does not support real-time quotes.
A: If our chart software was installed on your computer before September 2005, a newer version must be installed before using the eSignal quote feed. Please use the following link to complete this task:

If Plotwon version 1, 2, 0, 0 (or greater) is already installed, please ignore this message by clicking the OK button.

Q: An error message reads "Failed to connect to WINROS/ROSFLOAT."
A: This message is a reference to the eSignal Data Manager. To resolve this issue, close both the chart window and eSignal Data Manager, and then restart the charts. If this does not resolve the problem, restart your computer and try again.
