Introduction
The Daily Graphs Custom Screen Wizard allows you to search the entire O'Neil Database® for stocks that meet your specific criteria. ^ back to top

Custom Screen Criteria
The Custom Screen Wizard criteria are grouped into eight categories (1 category per page) of related items:

• IBD SmartSelect® Ratings
• Earnings
• Sales
• Industry & Sector
• Shares & Holdings
• Price & Volume
• Margins & Ratios
• General

Suggested values are available where ever a light bulb icon is present. Clicking the light bulb once will add a suggested value; clicking it a second time will clear that suggestion.

Navigation
Each section can be accessed directly by clicking the text links located at the top of the Custom Screen Wizard interface. You may also navigate from page to page using the arrow buttons at the top and bottom of the interface. ^ back to top

Entering Criteria
Each of the eight criteria pages shows a list of items you may screen for in that particular category. The left side of the page shows basic definitions for each item, detailed explanations may be accessed by clicking the "more..." links at the end of each definition. You may enter criteria in any section in any order as well as skip a section entirely. You may enter your criteria directly into the fields on the right side of the page, or if you like, you may click the light bulb icon to fill in suggested values for that specific item. Many items allow you to specify a range of values (e.g., from 80 to 90.) Leaving the "to" field blank in this example will screen for values of 80 and up.

Remember: Only stocks that match all of your criteria are included in your search results; specifying too many criteria or conflicting criteria may result in a screen returning no matching stocks. ^ back to top

Other Screen Functions
There are four buttons located at the top and bottom of each criteria page.

If you are creating a new screen, you may:

• Save your criteria by clicking the "Save Screen" button
• Reset the criteria on this page by clicking the "Reset Page" button, or reset all of the pages by clicking the "Reset Wizard" button
• Run the Wizard with the criteria you have entered so far by clicking the "Run Wizard" button.

If you are modifying a previously saved screen, you may:

• Save your criteria by clicking the "Save Changes" button
• Revert to all your saved screen parameters by clicking the "Revert to Saved", or restore the saved values for the current page by clicking the "Undo Changes" button
• Run the Wizard with the criteria you have entered so far by clicking the "Run Wizard" button.

Storing Your Screens
For your convenience, you may save up to 10 Custom Screens to run or modify at a later date. Saved screens may be accessed on the home page of the Custom Screen Wizard. You may review the parameters of a saved screen by clicking its name. Links for running, modifying and deleting saved screens are located to the right of each saved screen name on the homepage. ^ back to top

Running the Wizard
When the "Run Wizard" button is clicked, the Custom Screen Wizard will scan the entire O'Neil Database® for stocks that match the criteria entered. Once the scan is complete, the Report Formatting Options page will appear and the number of stocks found that met the criteria will be displayed. The parameters of the screen will be listed near the bottom of the page. If you wish to modify your criteria, clicking the "Modify Criteria" button will allow you to do so. ^ back to top

Report Formatting
You may specify a Primary and Secondary Sort for your final results, then click the "Display Results" button to view the results of your screen. Please note, the Custom Screen Wizard will return a maximum of 200 stocks. If more than 200 stocks match your criteria, your final results will show the top 200 stocks, according to the sort options you selected. ^ back to top

Screen Results
The final page of the Custom Screen Wizard lists the stocks that meet your criteria, and shows the following data for each stock:

• Symbol
• Company Name
• Price
• Price Change
• Volume (shown in 100s)
• Volume Percentage Change vs. 50-Day Average Volume
• Earnings Per Share (EPS) Rating
• Relative Price Strength (RS) Rating
• Industry Group Relative Strength (Grp RS) Rating
• Sales + Profit Margins + ROE (SMR) Rating
• Accumulation/ Distribution (Acc/Dis) Rating

On the results page, you may save your screen for future use, modify the screen's criteria, print the results of the screen, or start a new Custom Screen by clicking the appropriate button. You may also click the HOME link at the top right corner of the page to return to the Custom Screen Wizard home page. ^ back to top
